I feel the longing in this one. Would "a sun / that I can't see" work?

Just read through Oct. 30 posts. Am bookmarking. Am in a coffee shop and must read these somewhere less public. They are overwhelming, creating tiny, treasured bursts of emotion. Or maybe the threatening tears are hormonal. Many thanks to Blogs of Note!

I love the idea of the tulips having access to a sun somewhere other worldly that you don't know about...x

Good point Bill. I toyed with your wording, but I wanted to play with the idea that the tulips had seen it, that they had a secret from me. Not in true haiku spirit, but then I bend things a lot on my blog!
