I think I have said this before (and there is probably a word for it - freudian slip of the written word??) but sometimes the words you use can be so easily misread to give another word that would also give meaning. I read this several times as 'slivered' until I realised it was 'silvered'. I'm happier with silvered so I'm glad I kept re-reading. :)
