Touching the wordless with words. Well said.

Really lovely. The cardigan and the bed sheets both had the energy of a loved one -- were worn and folded with life and breath. This brought back so many memories for me. Thank you.

I love your pictures of the poems. That in itself is comforting.

That you for your comment. :)

we do inhabit things and we do leave some behind...you distilled it well!

I love how you find such sweetness in an old cardigan... working against unreasoned negative connotations the world "old" might hold for some of us.

In the second one, I especially liked the enfolding, liked that folding applied just as much to the speaker as to the sheets...

I love your presentation... these are actual pictures of your actual writing, right? I want to try it sometime...

Shelley - thanks for your comment and question about the presentation - a few people have mentioned my images before so I thought I'd respond. The image for this post was a photo of my actual writing, pegged to my actual fridge! But most of the others are digitally produced images. I take a photo or download a photo and then 'write' on it using an art package.

That first one really hits home. May we all find comfort in what remains.
